Answer Checker

Wondering how many points your answer would earn? Pick a prompt from the full bank of 302, type the answer you'd give, and the checker tells you exactly which rarity tier it lands in.

302 banked prompts — pick one from the list or let chance choose.

What the checker does

Every Krillion Daily prompt ships with a bank of answers sorted into six rarity tiers. The checker matches your answer against that bank — the same matching the real game uses — and reports the tier and its point value instantly.

Rarity is the whole game. An answer everyone thinks of earns a handful of points; one almost nobody thinks of can be worth ten times as much. That's why the checker shows you the tier, not just the points — it trains you to feel the difference between a common guess and a genuine deep cut.

Use it to warm up before the daily dive, or to settle the classic post-game argument: was your answer really a Rare, or was it a Plankton all along? For the full breakdown of how points and depth work, see the scoring guide, and brush up on the rules in how to play. If you want reps, the trainer runs you through untimed practice dives.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the Answer Checker score my answer?

It normalizes what you typed — lowercase, no punctuation, single spaces — and compares it to the banked answers for that prompt. The rarity tier your match sits in decides the points, from 100 for One in a Krillion down to 10 for Plankton.

Why did my answer only earn Plankton points?

That answer sits in the most common tier, which means a lot of players would type the same thing. In Krillion Daily, obvious answers score the least — the game's whole point is to think past the first thing everyone knows.

What if my answer isn't in the bank?

It scores as a miss, worth zero in a real dive. Before giving up on it, double-check the spelling — a single typo is the most common reason a good answer misses. Punctuation and capitalization don't matter.

Can I use the checker on today's daily dive?

Absolutely — it's built for practice. Pick the prompt, try different answers, and see which ones are rare. It's the fastest way to learn how the rarity tiers think before your one real attempt of the day.
